I've been having trouble using ROBLOX on Mac since May. Not Studio, just the Player. Whenever I click play, literally nothing happens. It brings up the download message and does nothing. Everything is fine on my computer, and I have tried everything from reinstalling ROBLOX to reinstalling my entire Operating System. Check to make sure that the Roblox icon is currently on your Dock and the Roblox Application is showing in your Applications folder. Try launching the program from the Dock if you're having a problem playing a game from the website. Try fully resetting your Roblox settings by deleting the settings files.

I’ve looked up tutorials and other helping videos to see what the issue was. Every single time I try it either responds with “Roblox was unable to update” or “Unable to fetch current version” I’ve tried everything I possibly could to get it to work but it just hasn’t been working. Every time I download a new one it pops up with the same “Configuring Roblox” icon and only starts downloading to a certain point then stops and the “unable to update” message pops up again.
I’ve tried to cancel the configuration but it doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t even download the plugin anymore. Nothing seems to work. I don’t know if there’s some other alternative way to download it... but nothing will work. If there is any way to fix this and to stop it from forever “Configuring” and then stopping the download at random... Please let me know. This has been going on for three days straight and I would really like it fixed ASAP.
