- – latest version for 002 Console. – latest version for 002 Rack. After downloading the driver simply install click the exe file and install them. In most cases the Windows Device Manager will still show you the Digidesign 002 & 003 device with no driver installed. Then you have to do the following; – open the device manager.
- The guy in the previous posting saying he is using the 002 with PT12 successfully is one of the few lucky ones AND he is running it with Mac OSX 10.8.5 Mountain Lion which does make the crucial difference finally. Besides the hardware issues of 002/003s with some current Macbooksk the main problem/the key is the version of Mac OSX.

Digidesign 002 Rack Driver
The basic story is the newest drivers work with PT11 and the old driver works with PT10. Yes, you can install both drivers. The AVID002 driver is the one for PT11. The DIGI002 is the older driver. Mac users seem to have better luck than Windows. My Mac works well with the 002 rack. Great piece of hardware working seamlessly with the lates version of Pro Tools 12.
